This website was developed pretty fast, especially in the development phase. This government instituion requested a website in which they could post their press releases, photo galleries, video galleries, promotional advertisement, send email newsletters in html, and much more.

The difficult part was talking to the institutions staff, sell our ideas, and try to fulfill their requirements.  Panamanians have the tendency of liking websites with too much Flash / flashy images, and selling a User Experience Design service is actually non existent or not considered by most companies or institutions.

[singlepic id=64 w=320 h=240 mode=web20 float=left]We prepared a powerpoint slideshow for a meeting, in which I explained  all of our previous work and success stories including the portfolio.  . . and developed a proposal with the Information Architecture ( proposed sitemap and wireframes/website prototype). It made sense to them, and the website development was a marathon of coffee and work.  It was not easy to organize due to the amount of information and the very little time left for the delivery of this project. Labeling each section of the website was a nightmare.

At the end, it was a very well accepted product, all of the staff members of this institution loved the website and approved it right away, and it has become the Press Center for this institution, saving them public relations time, interviews, and staff organization.

As the website is easy to use, this institution’s staff is already updating all of the content (menus, images, and articles). So the website has changed after the official delivery.
